Here, you play in the boots of the character Haruki fusaishi. You will discover yourself in the little village called as yasumizu which is present in the deep forest of japan. This is actual beginning of the game where werewolves invaded the entire village.

These wolves are in rage of lusting for the village vengeance after the village people exposed them. Everyone is getting stopped to leave from the village because of the mist that is surrounded the village. In this game, each night a wolf will kill one of the villagers and then next day, those remained ones need to kill their own person in disguise of the wolf.

Haruki is the one who come to investigate and came to live with the villagers to help them figuring out before all are killed which are the wolves actually. At the starting of the first night, he cannot be able to understand the condition and gets astonished about this fate. Instead of remaining dead, Haruki is on the road and recollecting the dying memory but not understanding why he is unable to do it. For destroying the wolves, you need to die several times.
