Full time committed Gamers who are denizens of the MechWarrior Universe, must be erupting with joy. The latest in this Universe, MechWarrior 5, is about to be launched. The grand opening, after several stops and starts, have now been scheduled for late in 2019, between September and December. The wait has been long, but pre-viewers are enthusing. It’s the best of the MechWarrior Saga so far, they say, and will cement the Legend resoundingly. Their overjoyed reaction is not surprising, since the last single player, first person action game created in the great BattleTech tradition was only in 2002. This was the MechWarrior 4 : Vengeance. Created by Piranha Games, with their HQ in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, this Fifth stage has been delayed, but as they say, better late than never. As a special feature, both Single Player and Multi Player environment is available. Single Player operation is from the Player’s viewpoint, which makes it especially exciting. As regards Multi Player Gaming, four Player co-operative multiplayer and full mod support can easily be switched on.
Gameplay
MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries has a fifty to sixty hour duration main game. Pilots are taken on a thirty four year career starting 3015, up to and including the year 3049. This time period is an important resource, as is the collection of the other resource, the money equivalent or C Bills. Galaxies are colonized with Robotic Mercenaries, and ransoms collected or traded. And the exciting rest, when you play it! This is indeed an unforgettable Game!
